There will never be a perfect skateboard contest. The beauty about skateboarding is that there are so many different types of skateboarders in the world: Some who do hard tricks, some with great style, some with commitment, some with control, some who stay low to the ground, some who jump, and some who do it all and have it all. Then there are some who run and gun.
10 skaters invited. Each with their own 24 hours in the new Berrics. Filming their best 60 second run. Unaware of what the others have done. $25,000 on the line. You are the judge.
The new enjoi video, Oververt, premiered in LA last night, and it was everything you'd ever want or expect from an enjoi video — super funny skits, solid skating, and good vibes. While they were still in town, we had them take over the Berrics phone at Westchester for a Gram Yo Selfie.
So much good skating gets posted everyday on Insta. Some clips are so insanely good that a few years ago, they could've been legitimate video part enders. But the nature of Instagram is to be of the moment—to be instant. As a result, these clips get forever lost in the black hole of Insta's infinite scroll. "Liked" once and forgotten. Double Tapped is our way of slowing down the ever-growing feed to reflect. These are the clips that stood the test of time over the past 7 days and deserve a rewatch. Tag @berrics and hashtag #BerricsDoubleTapped on your Instavids for a chance to get in next week's Double Tapped.
You gotta be quick on your feet if you wanna hang with the best of 'em. Step into the dojo...
DC's state of the art cupsole construction meets hella pop with the Matt Miller signature shoe. Seriously, this full-length part proves that Matt is on some next-level spring-loaded pop shit, effortlessly hopping onto ledges that most people would be scared to simply drop off of.
Run & Gun starts this weekend, and you best believe that Matt will be displaying more superhuman pop in his run, too!
